All I want for christmas

is time.

ENG:

I already announced it in my latest post: While I was sick I had a lot of time to think and I realized, how rarely I am taking some time to just think and that made me even more thoughtful.

I have accomplished a lot in the last year, my master’s degree and the launch of this blog are only the two biggest steps I took. But with a fulltime-job and all the daily obligations there’s often very little time to cherish it and to take a deep, satisfied breath.

I’m basically a person, who is always on the run and who likes to get things done. But sometimes I wish I could take had a little break, because it just feels like the days, weeks and months are passing by. So this Christmas my biggest wish isn’t something material (and believe me, I’m surprised myself), but at the same time my New Year’s resolution.

I want to have more time and give myself more time to rest.

Because even when I have some extra time for myself, I’m already thinking about what to do next or how I can make the most out of it. So I know, I have to work on myself in the first place, because I always intend to do a bit too much and everything has to be perfect. So it could help to just become a bit more relaxed and less strict with myself.

I will let you know, if I find a way to make my biggest wish come true, but for now I will enjoy a relaxing evening on the couch. Could be a beginning, huh?

PS: You might ask yourself what those picture have to do with my topic. We took them about three months ago, when Julian and I were at Bregenzer Wald for a concert. I enjoyed this little timeout so much and these photos remind me of it and the most magical sunset of the past year.
