Fall vibes

Wenn ich mir die Outfits der letzten Woche so ansehe, sind mit ein, zwei Ausnahmen eigentlich gar keine typischen Herbst-Outfits dabei. Damit meine ich einen All-over-Look in gedeckten Erdtönen mit kuscheligen Materialen. Der hier ist aber so einer. Bis auf Jeans und Tasche ist der Rest des Looks alt und sowohl Boots, als auch Pullover und Mantel gehören zu absoluten Lieblingen in meinem Kleiderschrank.

Ich muss wirklich zugeben, dass es mich meist fast glücklicher macht, wenn ich merke, dass ich Kleidungsstücke bereits über Jahre gern trage, als wenn ich etwas Neues anziehe. Der Mantel ist sicherlich schon vier oder fünf Jahre alt und die Isabel Marant Dicker Boots gehören sowieso zu absoluten Klassikern. Ich habe sie mir vor etwa drei Jahren von einem meiner ersten Gehälter gekauft und bald auch noch in schwarz zugelegt, da es mit einer Größe von 1,78 m gar nicht so einfach ist, passende Schuhe mit Absatz zu finden, die zwar cool, schick und bequem, aber nicht überdimensional hoch sind. Ja, und dem Pullover bin ich vor 2 Jahren wirklich hinterhergelaufen. Ich hatte mich auf den ersten Blick verliebt, wollte ihn aber in Barcelona kaufen, da Zara dort ja etwas günstiger ist. Wie es der Zufall so wollte, ist er mir dort nur am Flughafen begegnet, wo wir in Eile waren. Im restlichen Barcelona war er nicht zu finden und ich hatte das Glück, zurück in Salzburg einen der letzten zu erwischen.

In Kombination mit meiner recycelten H&M-Jeans und der kleinen Gucci Dionysus – die ich übrigens gar nicht mehr aus den Händen gebe –ist der Look aber brandaktuell und genau das Richtige für einen schönen Herbst-Tag. Findet ihr nicht auch?

Looking at my latest looks, I have to admit, that they don`t include real fall outfits – to me these are made of natural colours and cosy materials all over. But here’s one of them. Apart from my jeans and bag the rest of the look is older. My boots, sweater and coat are some of my absolute favorites.

Most of the time I’m more happy wearing something I have loved for years than wearing something brand new. The coat for example is more than four or five years old and the Isabel Marant Dicker boots are classics in my wardrobe. I have bought them three years ago, investing one of my first salaries and got them very soon in black as well. Believe me, it’s not that easy to find comfy and pretty heeled shoes, which are not too high, when you’re already 1.78 m tall. Oh, and the sweater. I literally chased it. It was love at first sight, but I wanted to buy it in Barcelona, since Zara is a bit cheaper over there. I saw it at the airport, but we were in a hurry and I couldn’t find it anywhere in the city. Luckily I acquired one of the last ones back in Salzburg.

Combined with my recycled H&M jeans and my Gucci Dionysus – which I hardly take off anymore– this look represents my current taste and is just right for a beautiful fall day. Don’t you think so?
