Winter neutrals

Hi ihr Lieben, das neue Jahr ist schon wieder in vollem Gange und ich hoffe es hat gut für euch begonnen. Ich sitze nach den ersten vier Tagen im Büro schon wieder am Schreibtisch, denn Freitag Nachmittag bedeutet für mich immer Blog Zeit. Ich liebe es, nach der Arbeit nach Hause zu kommen, mir eine große Tasse Kaffee zu machen und mich meinem liebsten Hobby hier zu widmen. Obwohl man meinen möchte, dass ich nach einer vierzig Stunden Woche Social Media Arbeit erst einmal genug haben könnte, kann ich es kaum erwarten, meine neuesten Outfits, Gedanken und Neuzugänge mit euch zu teilen.

Ich habe es vielleicht schon einmal erwähnt, aber obwohl ich manchmal mit dem ganzen Social Media Zirkus (und meiner Rolle darin) hadere, erfüllt mich mein Blog immer ein wenig mit Stolz. Denn er ist der Beweis dafür, dass ich mir den Traum, mit dem ich vor fast 10 Jahren in die große Welt gestartet bin, auch erfüllt habe. Ich wusste, dass ich über Mode schreiben möchte und heute mache ich das. Anders als ich es mir damals erwartet hätte und doch ist es noch dieselbe Leidenschaft die mich antreibt und die mich jetzt gerade hier sitzen und vor sich hin lächeln lässt.

Vielleicht liegt es auch daran, dass ich zwischen Arbeit und Zuhause noch einen kleinen Stop im Reisebüro mit Julian eingelegt habe. Die Pläne für unsere verspätete Hochzeitsreise stehen (so gut wie) und ich kann es kaum erwarten, bis es in den Osterferien losgeht. Direkt nach der Hochzeit konnten wir aufgrund von Julians Beruf leider nicht verreisen, aber jetzt ist die Freude umso größer!

Und mein erstes Outfit im neuen Jahr ist gar nicht so anders als in den Jahren zuvor. Wie ich kürzlich beim Durchscrollen meiner Bilder feststellen konnte, hat sich stiltechnisch in den letzten Jahren (zum Glück) nicht so viel bei mir getan. So auch bei diesem Look, der aus bekannten Komponenten besteht, die bei mir immer funktionieren. Mein Camel-Coat, ein dicker Strickpullover, den ich bei Zara im Sale gefunden habe, eine karierte Hose und Isabel Marant Boots (hier reduziert). Kleiner Hingucker: Meine Perlen-Tasche, die übrigens mittlerweile auf Zalando erhältlich ist. Juhu!

Hi everyone, the new year is already in full swing again and I hope it started well for you. After the first four days at the office, I am sitting at my desk at home again because Friday afternoon always means blog time for me. I love coming home after work, making myself a big cup of coffee and doing what I love most. Although one could think I’d had enough social media after doing this as a full time job, I just can’t wait to share my latest outfits, thoughts, and newbies with you.

I may have mentioned it before, but although I sometimes quarrel with the whole social media circus (and my role in it), my blog always fills me with pride. Because it is the proof that I have fulfilled the dream with which I started almost 10 years ago. I knew that I wanted to write about fashion and that’s what I do today. In a different way than I would have expected and yet it is the same passion that drives me and that makes me sit right here and smile.

Maybe it’s also because I just had a little stop in the travel agency with Julian after work. The plans for our belated honeymoon are nearly done and I can not wait until it starts in the Easter holidays. Unfortunately, we could not travel right after the wedding due to Julian’s job, but now the joy is even greater!

Well, and my first outfit of the new year is not so different from the years before. As I could see recently, when scrolling through my pictures, my style (fortunately) hasn’t changed a lot in the last years. Same with this look, which consists of well-known components, that always work for me. My camel coat, a cosy knit sweater I found on sale at Zara, checked pants and Isabel Marant boots (here on sale). A little eye-catcher: My pearl bag, which by the way is now available on Zalando. Yay!
